Posts to Come re: Our Adventures in Madison

But first, this is what we encountered on the way home:

A fatal crash in Columbia County near the Wisconsin River bridge caused west bound lanes to be closed and traffic was delayed for many hours Sunday night.
The State Patrol says a jeep made a lane change, hit another car, continued out of control and hit a semi around 2:30 Sunday afternoon.
The semi ran into an overpass pillar, splitting the semi's trailer in half. The trailer was holding frozen dinners, which scattered all over the road and delayed the opening of lanes to traffic.
The driver of the semi was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. His passenger, a 22-year old woman, died in the crash.
Traffic was down to one lane for about 6 hours, and was backed up for eight miles.

Story found here.

It took us 3 hours to make it 4 miles. This story was very sad to hear.
